Method
Your child is struggling, but not because he or she can't do the work. More likely, he or she has difficulty getting organized, is overwhelmed with new concepts and/or has low self esteem from the accumulated stress of always being under a mountain of homework and projects. Your child is frustrated, you are frustrated, and your family evenings too often end in disaster.
Unlike subject tutors, I take a "whole family" approach to helping your child get back on track. I will show your child how to become organized and relax more, and show you the best (and much less frustrating) ways you can support him or her.
I will identify concept weaknesses that are baffling your child and undermining self confidence, and fill in those gaps in fun and engaging ways.
You can spend years and many hundreds of dollars constantly hiring tutors for specific subjects, or you can let me help your child regain the joy of learning, take appropriate responsibility, and put relaxation and fun back into your evenings.

My rate is $50/hour.
